Default India's Leader Modi 3 day visit to the UK

He has had been in power for 2 years.

India like China
is investing in the UK.

Fair Enough, but why is there a UK charity(Using a Downton Actor Hugh)
doing a Water Aid. For Children in their Slums.

Why can India not sort out its own Slums?

For the same reason that the UK - no matter WHO is in power - doesn't sort out it's homeless probems and poverty problems - it's called the 'Let Them Eat Cake' policy.

A very good point though Arista. Mmmm.... I wonder if India's TV networks run commercials highlighting the UK's homeless and starving, asking Indian's to donate to a relief charity for them?

We contribute to both these countries with aid. Much more to India, but China also gets millions every year. You couldn't make it up, could you.

No Liv, you couldn't. But it's all just a tiny part of a myriad such idiotic scandalous policies we have, and if we collated them all and put them in a book, it would be a tome of such sheer size and weight it would need a dozen men to just lift it.

Totally agree Kirk, all this foreign aid and yet pensioners die from hypothermia because they can't afford to turn the heating on.

Shouldn't heating for people over 75 be free...??

It's all about this country winning big contracts.

Yet we never see the rewards.

Human rights are not the biggest priority for many of our global associates recently...
Welcome to the future.

What Would British Fascism Look Like?

'The far-Right believes barbarism to be a product of uncivilised peoples or cultures which cannot exist in this country unless imported from the outside. A far-Right government would see its role only as the protector of the British people from this perceived threat.'

The first year in power of a far-right government would most probably see a withdrawal from NATO, an exit from the European Union and an end to all overseas aid spending. Foreign massacres would be dismissed as "savagery". Actual military spending, however, would be doubled.

With regard to the military, huge hostility would be whipped-up, with the aid of the media, towards any figure who publicly criticised military spending or the increasing deployment of troops to quell internal unrest and break strikes. Such people would be branded "unpatriotic" and denounced as Communists.

Which accurately sums up the biggest CON perpetrated against the 'ordinary' people of this country - the EU.

'They' take from each regardless of his means or ability to afford, and pay the collected billions to their cronies and co-criminals in Brussels, and the UK gets a percentage 'back' to appease the hoodwinked masses, yet the REAL payback - the real 'cream' off, and the 'raison d'etre' for the EU - goes into the pockets of that 'class' of rich, powerful and avaricious machiavellian bastards who took us into te EU in the first plce:

Ł40 million per year subsidies for growing trees - nice for one of the richest and THE largest landowner in Britain, the Duke of Buccleuch who owns a 270,000 acre estate spanning both Scotland and England and nice for all his Aristocratic cronies, plus the wealthy celebrities who 'diverted' their spare dosh directly into trusts so that they not only legally avoid paying any inheritance tax, but also qualify for total tax relief when they eventually harvest and sell off the timber for HUGE profits.

40 years x Ł40 million - do the maths.

Then add in the EU Common Agricultural Policy payments to wealthy Famers and Landowners - you know, that which is the most expensive scheme in the EU taking up more than 40% of its annual budget. The one which PAYS wealthy Farmers billions NOT to use their land for ANYTHING because the fukced up corrupt and inept EU does not want to increase its staggeringly HUMONGOUS Butter and Wheat mountains or its Wine and Milk Lakes, or its other billions of tonnes of other foodstuffs rotting away in huge expensive to rent warehouses while half the EU communities pay inflated prices for food and the other half starves because they can't afford to pay.

The biggest joke is that the EU made billionaire and millionaire landowners even more wealthy, by paying them not to use hundreds of thousands of acres for anything, when much of those acres was worthless bogland and could NOT be used for anything anyway.

Yeah we were conned by fat overfed paedo Ted Heath and his europhile cronies, but the hard part is making some people see it and admit it.
