i don't night venture
but christmas eve i got a peep
its a wounder land and no mouth denture
if you can get up the hill that's so steep.
sitting on the hill brow
a magnificent church for connecting
its just the beginning and no time for chow
xmas you will soon be detecting.
into the exclusive square
you might need your shades
epileptics don't stare
fearing of fitting persuades.
the light from the trees glamour
really look spectacular
highgate village i would never hammer
complements are for the dazzling square rectangular.
the Christmas trees are tasty
white snow drops or silver
the colours are not sick or pasty
highgate has christmas fever.
thank you highgate for the village
christmas you did deliver
mass respect and praise is the silage
this is perfect for the phone box sliver.


( just off for dinner - may I take this opportunity from the best village in the world to wish everyone a merry Christmas. if you go to the village you will be dazzled especially if you go at night. its a kind of magic. )
