CHRISTMAS TELLY

Oh what happened to the Christmas telly
As I stare at the box, filling my belly
With turkey and mince pies
Till they come out my eyes

Watching the box, there's nothing on
Please ITV, BBC, I mean, come on
You get paid huge sums to make TV shows
And what you you screen, Heaven knows

Just absolute rubbish from wall to wall
Look I am by no means a know-all
But I know my stuff
Not meaning to be gruff
I know what's good
Like a good Brunt should

TV telly at Christmas is ****e
And for this I'll fight
Better TV shows I want now
How the heck we get 'em I know how

Put on a DVD of my choice
No, no, not the Best of Max Boyce!

A horror film for me
Look, come and see
Dracula, tis the title of the DVD
Not really fit for Christmas TV.
