Was watching back some clips of this earlier and remembered what a fantastic series this was. Obviously Sam winning was a joke but everything else about it was great, it felt like a proper return to form for BB and had such a great mix of big characters, controversy, funny moments, an awesome house, and the first series with Emma <3. Looking back, I think this was probably the best overall civilian BB that C5 has produced (though BB13 comes very close).

The best series Channel 5 has done . It had such an event feel around it - as the OP said it's the first series with Emma, but also it felt like Big Brother had been reborn with the theme and the house design. The cast was largely brilliant as well (apart from the awful winner), plus the two hours of live feed a night were always brilliant to watch. It's such a shame that the civilian series that have followed since then has been awful, but this series always gives me good memories.

It really did feel like the proper rebirth of BB, if I remember correctly this was the highest rated C5 civilian series as well with a 2 million average.

I didn't think it was anything special really (but obviously it was miles better than BB15 and BB16). For me it's not even close to being as good as BB13 though.

BB13 was the better/more entertaining series, but BB14 had a better atmosphere and probably the last time BB actually felt like how it's supposed to be

Will never get the love for this series on here. Like, 2 likeable housemates if that and just endless tedious twists. It was eventful but so's a genocide.
