The abuse won't be that bad.
Firstly he will get abuse for about 2 games then everyone will forget about it once he starts to get big wins. Also half the fans around now weren't even born before 1998. Thirdly alot of the fans at grounds are not even England fans, plenty of foreign EPL fans at grounds and p!enty of British fans support other countries internationally.
