I'm looking to download a programme for screen recording that allows you to save the recording as a gif (basically for situations where converting a video to a gif online doesn't work), I wondered if anyone on here has used any particular programmes and can recommend good ones?
There are various ones online but I don't know which ones are good and/or secure. |

Gyazo is the one that I use (it also let's you take cropped screenshots which is incredibly helpful).

Screencast-o-matic is safe (I think? I've used it and I haven't had any viruses... that I'm aware of )
