let me tell you a story

it is like a fairy tale

i might sell it to "jackanory"

it will be well worth the sale.

a man called jack richardson

his story needs a tissue

how sweet was it for jack to persuade

now the beggar was the giving authority.

overwhelmed to assist

a chat was not all she could provide

when jacks squat was reduced to mist

toni opened her house and heart wide.

sleeping on the settee

jack has landed on his feet

are your palms getting sweaty

the next bit is so sweet.

everything was donated

the church and clothes even the ceremony

its not at all exaggerated

this giving is pure harmony.
