She wanted the experience and lots of people don't like vomit. I find it commendable actually how she spent so much trying to acomplish what she wanted <333333

And no before someone states the obvious - that does not mean the act of throwing up is riveting TV either - but making a mess and pissing others off in the process certainly can be, moreso than retiring to bed early is at least. Quote:

Though of course that's reversed in the Big Brother house because causing hassle for the people around them is a good thing and it should be applauded |

It's so funny how pressed everyone got that she wasn't following the conventional housemate route of 'party all day, party all night' and instead spent her time being a kitchen monster, tea bag hag and being 'a lady' <333

Sorry but you can't really flip this around, that's not going to work I'm asking why you find such a trivial issue so important. I've stated I don't think it's important - because it isn't. You were the one who responded to me in this thread, not the other way round, so it's you who should be answering why such a trivial issue is seemingly such a big crimeand lmao I look forward to the same because when it comes to Big Brother I almost never criticise anything any housemate does - unless it's actually serious like a Dennis incident - for reasons like 'this isn't real life', 'we're not living with them so why should we care', 'both sides should be applauded for causing this issue that we're all talking about' etc etc. I very, very rarely say anything like 'they were so out of order for doing that!', usually you'll find me congratulating them on doing it and making the show...people should know that of me by now. I take an objective stance on all things Big Brother UK related so feel free to prove me wrong this summer, but I'll be amazed if you do. I don't care what people do on the house for the most part, so long as they're doing something ![]() Quote:
' smiley to try and be patronising. If you do that I'm going to retaliate. I've been personal with no one else, just curious as to why anyone could possibly care about someone else doing something with their own body that's all, it's such a non-issue and I'm yet to be shown examples of how it's anything but being snobby

You've been perfectly civil? Jack, you're very rarely perfectly civil to people on here and this is no different.
Case in point, having the gall to suggest issues like poverty, unemployment and addiction aren't of importance to me. Each one of those has, and continues to, have a negative affect on my life, before you know anything about me don't make insulting and unfair assumptions about me as a person. You don't have that right. Jesus Christ, we're ****ing discussing Big Brother. Not everything has to become a debate about social issues and an excuse to have a self righteous rant about how small minded people are to the real world etc etc. Last edited by Lostie!; 06-04-2016 at 03:50 PM. |

Please highlight the post in this thread where I wasn't civil to someone before they were uncivil to me? I even responded to your initial quote respectfully, it was only when you tried to patronise me that I retaliated. I will always engage in civil debates (with few exceptions with certain on season regulars who shan't be named) with people until they try to make it otherwise, this thread has been no different. Where was I rude initially?
You are now putting words into my mouth and exaggerating what I've said. Again - I am and continue to be curious as to why someone getting drunk and throwing up (which just happens to be indicative of a whole range of social issues, the point I'm making is that it's not as simple as 'well just drink less' which is more or less the reasoning you cited, not that you don't care about other issues) is at all a problem for anyone else but themselves that's all, you chose to jump on this, not me or anyone else

That fact that susie can generate 40 bibles worth of opinions on an online thread 10 years later just proves that she is an amazing housemate

I hope I've put my point across clearly enough now because I think this debate has derailed the thread for long enough now (partly my fault for continuing it in the first place). Last edited by Lostie!; 06-04-2016 at 04:15 PM. |

To answer the poll question, I would say no, but I wouldn't say she was a terrible housemate. She was just average really, I don't get why people make such a big deal about her |

Susie being a 'snob' about drinking or kebabs or whatever is all part of her charm. The fact that someone 'shouldn't' go in if they hold those views only adds to her value as a HM in my opinion because we should see all sorts of different hm's interacting, so power to her for going against type and not being afraid to bring something different, or go into an environment where she probably won't be wanted/included. Not everyone has to like her obviously but the fact that so many do 10 years later proves that she did provide for a large number of people and based on that alone I don't see how she could be classed as anything other than a good housemate.
