So, this is what I thought of the final book. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, so highlight the text if you want to read.
[spoil]Oh my god the last book was so sad. Who else cried when Dobby the house elf died? I am still devastated! All the deaths were very sad. I think there were too many, I was only expecting a few, not twenty! But I did think either Ron or Hermione and possibly Harry might die, so I'm so glad they survived. It was horrible when I actually thought Harry would die at the end, but so relieved when he didn't. I never even realised Harry was a Horcrux! I didn't like how the book ended 19 years in the future though, that was a bit disappointing. It's rather annoying how Harry ended up with Ginny, as I've always found her bratty. But I'm really pleased that Ron and Hermione got together, as I always knew they would! Overall the book was very good, although I still can't forgive JK.Rowling for all the deaths, especially Dobby. It's no way my favourite Harry Potter book as there wasn't enough of Hogwarts, and I really missed that. I was convinced that Dumbledore wasn't really dead, and was so disappointed to find out he really is I like it when Harry spoke to Dumbledore on the 'other side' though and to the others who died. I'm rambling way to much now lol so I'm going to stop. All I will say is I'm so sad the books have ended because I have been reading them for 10 years now. I will read them all again soon [/spoil]

Awww, I enjoyed that read Gemma.
[spoil]I was shocked at Dobbin too, he's so innocent, and I just pictured his big wide eyes as he died, such a loss.

There were too many deaths yeah, but I guess it was to show how big this battle was, and how powerful Voldemort is. I was shocked at Fred.

It was obvious a Weasley would go though, there are too many of them to keep. Ron and Hermione was coming and we all expected it, but Ginny and Harry is just annoying. It was also sad seeing them taking their kids to Hogwarts, just reminds us of how everything they did is over, and it's time for new 'adventures'.

The epilogue was disapointing, didn't really tell us much on how everyone got on after the battle. She has revealed it though so that's good. Plus she's doing an encyclopedia on everything, so we have that to look forward too. I'm going to miss the books so much, they've been a massive part of my life for ages now. Still got two films though, so yay.[/spoil]
