Since BB16 each room has had it's own style, like BB16's main living area, garden, bedroom and bathroom were all very different.

And it's the same with the BB17' house, the rooms don't flow.

A) It shuts out the crowd meaning that the housemates won't get a proper reception of how they're perceived until they leave the house.

B) It enables the producers to pull off their inevitable fake eviction twist much more swiftly (i.e Emma doesn't have to do the whole "how do you feel about being evicted" and "well, you haven't actually been evicted!!!!" chitchat).

I think the picture wall is gone because it can't show all housemates on it as they're keeping the others secret, and they can't just put the main house faces on it cause they'll be swapping back and forward etc.

The diary room looks to be at the end of the kitchen, in between both Houses (there's a buzzer next to the massive new door). The old diary room door is still there but the task room was also through that so I'm guessing it still is!
I love the house! Didn't expect much major changes. Love the garden, and the bedroom window.
