The only reason Rylan's been allowed to do the promotion that I can think of is because he's on This Morning. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, but just because he's on an ITV daytime show shouldn't mean that he's all of a sudden the spokesperson for Big Brother. If anything, it should be Emma doing the promotion as she's the bigger name.

Yeah Emma probably would be doing interviews on loose women and this morning and radio shows but I think she's literally only doing big brother and leaving the promotion to Rylan so she can spend as much time with her baby before the show starts.

I'd take a bet Emma was asked and refused so they got puppy dog Rylan to follow orders.

For goodness sake, the publicity this year has been a shambles. I find it literally astonishing they've actually supplied him / his PR team the official ads/house pics for him to upload on his account. He should be retweeting them/commenting on them but they should originate from the main account.

Mark my words he will be the Xtra Factor presenter before long and BBBOTS will have another Zezi Ifore on its hands; and if Emma goes too (which to be honest it's surprising she already hasn't) then lord help this show as they were lucky to get someone on par with Davina after the show left C4.

Maybe it's what the show needs, gradual disintegration into nothing so it can eventually be recommissioned by Netflix and given the full treatment it deserves (i.e. multiple live feeds from the house, bigger task budget, less pressure to be a TOWIE remake and back to being an organic social experiment with non-engineered drama and so on).

Oh for the days of eye flashes in the breaks, then house pic adverts, billboards around the country and countdown adverts. And god forbid a thriving fansite and online community reporting on events from the feeds, promoting the show to all and sundry and at times the newspapers, to generate hype and promotion 24/7 throughout the series.
