It's not Big Brother.

Do not judge him on likability, Boris makes me laugh, but he would not be a good leader for this country.

People seriously redeem yourselves, I'm hoping one of the Leavers or my Mom does something right to redeem themselves after harming me financially.

I'm aware it's not Big Brother. I feel you're suggesting i'm stupid by that statement and I assure you i'm not stupid, I know enough about Boris to think he's not a bad guy, but I don't know enough about him to know whether or not he's PM worthy. You don't know how this will effect you financially, no-one knows how this will effect people/the country. All we can do is wait and see. No-one needs to redeem themselves yet.

What? We won't lose any LGBT rights. As I posted, our LGBT rights come from our Equality Act 2010, nothing to do with the EU. My other point was that other countries in the EU have far poorer LGBT rights, which means that the EU is not a guarantee for them.

This is how I see it... The country was almost at rock bottom (i've just been refused surgery on the NHS, surgery that I need, despite my family paying outrageous tax for years and years and years, it's not right that the NHS funding is so piss poor!) being in the EU was not working, so maybe, it was time to try something different. If it doesn't work and this all goes tits up, at least we tried, and i'm proud that the majority of the country voted to try, despite it being such a risk.

Well said Dollface. We will prosper as the EU disintegrates - you will see.

I thought all the fecking scaremongering and misinformation would stop once the Referendum was over, but it's getting worse.

He has never made me laugh,he has this buffoon front he puts on but I think he is likely to be more hardline than anything we have seen thus far since 2010.

He will certainly very sadly, appeal to the hard hearted hardliners who make a up a fair few of diehard Conservative supporters.

Yes this whole lovable buffoon persona that he has because he'll play football with kids and fall over or dress up in ridiculous costumes is all a facade, he's a very dangerous bloke.

Thank you Kirk. I don't like getting involved in debates but I keep seeing people saying the only reason people voted out was due to immigration... but for me personally, immigration didn't even come into it. I think people need to realise that everyone had different reasons for voting.

The country hit recession like every other country did across the globe, and we would have been no less affected out of the EU.

The fact that the NHS is crumbling has nothing to do with the EU and everything to do with the fact that the Tories are systematically sabotaging it because they want to follow a US style insurance model which will now be easier for them to follow. Your family will pay no less tax, but now you will also have to pay for your own surgery on top of that. Well done.

This isn't really a "let's try something different :hmm: " situation... But these little insights into people's thinking are very enlightening at least. Horrifying, but enlightening.

Well, now that we aren't giving millions of pounds to other countries, maybe we can focus on the NHS. Like I said though, we can only wait and see how things will pan out.

The amount we'll be "better off" is probably hugely exaggerated for one... But then, even if we were several-million-a-week better off, they simply wouldn't give it to the NHS. The NHS is being systematically demolished, deliberately, and will continue regardless (has nothing at all to do with the EU vote, or lack of funds, would be the same either way).

Lol at EU telling Britain to go on and get out quick then cause they don't want our dead weight to drag this on any longer so they can sort themselves out. The disconnect and loneliness begins.

peter hitchens said something today, labour and the tory's are both corpses and are dead today, and he is right, nobody in their rightmind, would want to vote for parties that are so out of touch, and also have a very europhillia abjective to the voters, both parties are finished, traditional labour voters have come back to haunt labour, for who they abandoned so long ago, loyal tory voters have given dodgy dave a kicking, for he was trying to take them for granted, are next objective is to get rid of the lib-lab-con elite who are in westminster, for years they have sold this country, and its the ordinary who get nothing out of it,

If we are talking about liars then David Cameron did make a promise to the UK before the result came in that he would remain PM regardless of the outcome, the result came in and then he resigned. That clearly makes him a liar. We are also still waiting for Osborn to give us this emergency budget we now need because the world is about to end because we voted to leave the EU or was that too just another scaremonger story/lie?

Actually the truth is closer to get out quick before half the other countries follow you.

Germany are already drawing up papers to offer us some sort of special partner status so they don't lose out on their exports.

I'm not saying that you're stupid, I'm just saying don't be naive, there is a difference between the two.

And trust me when the prices shoot through the roof just to get food and drink I will not be able to afford it in the slightest, trust me I know this as a fact unless I can sort myself out quickly which I highly doubt that will happen when me and my Brother are the only intelligent people in this family.

The EU isn't involved with the NHS, they're about the Economy.

It's up to the UK Government at that given time if they want to spend money on the NHS and sadly they don't want to as they're cold hearted bastards that will blame anybody else but themselves, first it was the Lib Dems holding them back, now it's the EU, what is next?

I'm sorry about the NHS refusing to give you surgery btw, they're really understaffed and not very well run, and I've still never forgiven them for what they did to my Grandad when I was only 6 years old, but it's really not the EU's fault for the NHS.
