An estimated 300,000 turned up for the open top bus parade around Cardiff, from the airport around the city, with the first minister and a load fo celebrities onto a concert at cardiff city stadium
some have lauded this as a great achievement for wales, but some have scoffed, they only made the semi finals....save this kind of celebration for when you actually win something Is it good to celebrate this much? does it inspire people or on the flip side does it take away the motivation to become the best ? do we celebrate losing too much in this country? wales is the smallest nation to ever make the semi finals of any football tournament, which is a feta in itself. the next question is, if they had actually won, how do you top this celebration? http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wa...wales-11590084 |

Ah it was good to see and nice to have something to smile and be pleased about for a change.
The team did really well. I think Wales would have had to have a week off work to celebrate however had they won the tournament. Last edited by joeysteele; 09-07-2016 at 04:21 PM. |

All I know is, if Wales had won, the truth would have needed CPR.

Not over the top at all. The last time England made a semi final was 20 years ago and they're still making documentaries about it. Well done to Wales.
