People have forgot when Bb had to keep him locked in the diary room when he wanted to confront Charlie.

I would of liked Bb to let him out and then we would of seen the real Jason.

I'm referring to all the names you call her, for instance "Psychotic" "bitch" etc. As for the quote about everyone being entitled to their opinion but not their own truth because given how tore in Charlie I think you went beyond opinion and wandered into your version of truth about her which I think was unfair. These people aren't cartoon characters, they're re real people who deserve some respect.

I agree with this.

I don't think his post was totally wrong. He cited some things that I myself had forgotten. The name calling is a bit much though. I think too with Charlie too many people are so easily throwing around the "nutter" card. I agree, she came off on the show as somewhat unstable, but there's no need to further stigmatize a mental disorder and then call her out of her name for it.

Poor Jason was forced to deal with the situation thanks to Big Brother's Other's twist... made for some uncomfortable viewing at times. Anyway, he still benefited. He's lasted until this point, he made 20K, some headlines and will walk away with a small following.

When you consider the names other HM's are/have been called I'm not sure why Charlie should be immune. Not saying it's right, just that if you are going to call one poster out, then police others who do it too.

So much vitriol thrown over a tv show cast that is probably at least partially scripted. I can't invest that much time to dislike people I know let alone a see for 45 minutes a night I think I'm too old for reality tv now

As I stated before Speedster, you are entitled to your opinion as I am mine, and you are entitled to believe in the truth of your opinion as I am.

I use the terms I use because, in my opinion, they are valid descriptors of her behaviour; for example, I use the term you quote, 'psychotic bitch', because she DOES display, both the characteristics of a psychotic - ie; what she SAYS is NOT what we are witnessing, so she is divorced from reality - and a BITCH, ie; she spitefully and unjustly maligns Jason.

These people are NOT ordinary people, they are - almost to a man - very ambitious, very devious, ACTORS, who have cynically adopted fake personas which they hope will secure them popularity amongst the viewers AND other HM's to help them achieve their personal goals of Fame AND Fortune via exposure on such a National TV Show - if not by actually winning.

Do you really believe that Brian Belo or Nikki Graham are the same people post BB - off the air - as they were projecting themselves to be on air on BB?

'Acting' is NOT a problem - if they are GOOD actors, and if the character whch they are projecting is benign and humorous.

Similarly, 'Game Playing' is perfectably acceptable IF it is executed with fairness and a degree of honesty.

Unfortunately - in my opinion - Charlie is both a shet actor (Hell, she cannot even remember her lines - and SHE invented them) AND is far from benign, as extensive elements of her 'Game Playing' involved causing misery to Jason, and destroying his character and reputation WITHOUT substantiation. That's IF I am still capable of understanding what I have witnessed and am continuing to witness.

Finally, 'Respect' - whether on BB, this Forum, or in the 'Real' world, is not a right which is 'Deserved', but must be earned, and Charlie, I am afraid falls way short of earning MY respect.

Who's laughing? I am not treating mental health as a 'laughing matter', but using what I consider are the correct terms to adequately describe Charlie's contradictory, and quite frankly, abnormal behaviour patterns - though I admit to some other tongue-in-cheek descriptors.

Does your sensitivity extend to any HM being called names - such as Jason, for example? Or does it only manifest itself when one of your particular favourites are under attack?

I agree with you I just notice unrestrained people are when it comes to taking pot shots at women but i always try to say something if I see it,I just don't always see it, or sometimes people say something better than I can. For instance someone called Laura a trollop on the thread called "Laura or Evelyn,who do you prefer" I wanted to say something but someone else was more articulate than me so I just kept quiet.

Whether she is psychotic or not normally, the behaviour she displayed towards Jason could certainly be described as psychotic. Imo.

I am no mysogynist and the fact that Charlie is a 'woman' per se is NOT a factor, but what KIND of woman she is, is a factor.

And in my opinion, she is a very unfair, vexatious and bullying gold digger who is - by her own voilition - a cheat and a terrible partner.

I abhor ALL forms of bullying and I abhor her, but I would feel as equally as strong if the roles were reversed and Jason was bullying Charlie.

Being a 'woman' does not preclude harsh criticism or hatred where it is justified - even in emotional responses to women on a 'game show' as this forum PROVES every 'On Season'.

when she left and jason started smiling, i knew what a weight was off his shoulders - and once we'd seen what she was like in the house, his poleaxed face on first seeing her as an 'other' made complete sense.

equality means women should be judged by the same yardsticks as guys when it comes to behaviour - in fact, gender doesn't or shouldn't even enter the equation! judge a person by their actions and words, how they affect others around them, their positive and negative qualities. whatever reproductive organs they happen to be carrying is irrelevant.
