Jason said he used to be a bad man....everyone has their past and the best of us recognise it and change for the better as we get older.
I can't believe the things that people cling to in an attempt to justify their dislike of Jason, |

Well that can be taken well out of context...who knows what he was referring to. He obviously went through a phase in his life where he didn't like himself. The ridiculous reaction from the other housemates over his decision to evict Lateysha...the ridiculous reaction he got from Hughie and Ryan over his reason to choose Ryan (even though he has since explained it) has made him question himself. He has only had reassurance from Andy in the house although the fact he got kept in shows support from the GP. He was the only one who got hounded last night for his choice despite 3 others picking Ryan. I feel for him... |

He's the only one who has put his hands up and said he hasn't always been perfect....all the others think they are perfect and make no apology for anything they've done in the house or in the past. The very things that some people see as examples of how bad he is are the very things that make me just like him more. |

Well he's being too hard on himself then because there's nothing he's done in the house that remotely make him a bad man...nothing at all...in fact he comes across as a very respectful and decent guy who is strong enough and clever enough to do the job they've all been assigned to do....it's not his fault so many of the others are crap at it and end up being evicted.

I felt very sad for him in that scene. The house and eviction crowd reactions are making him doubt himself when in fact he's done nothing bad or wrong. I think he is incredibly reflective and decent and the fact he doubts himself makes me like him more if anything. He's human.

He is quite introverted I think and a deep thinker who needs reassurance that he is doing the right thing so he needs to talk about his actions and get opinions on them from those he trusts. He needs to stay strong and sure now and not let the pettiness of other people get to him. He had it long enough with Charlie he doesn't need the hassle all over again. I felt sorry for him tonight. He's doubting himself and there is absolutely no reason on earth that he should feel that way.
.....Little does he know the support he has outside the house! ![]() Last edited by jet; 17-07-2016 at 12:36 AM. |

Jason has some dark psychological issues going on. Something is wrong with him, just like Charlie. He's completely creepy now.

No, he never said that. He said he used to be a bad man, but managed to change for the better. Then the show finished.

It would be a master stroke if he was winding them up to draw out other housemate's vulnerabilities, sadly this isn't the case.
I agree, that his 'bad' person, could be anything, one person's bad person is another person's 'lost his way' or any other explanation you care to place under the umbrella 'bad'. Until he comes out and explains himself then we won't know for sure. I feel that it's going to be one of those that some mag will want to get hold of him to get the story and then once it's out it will be a bore fest. Jason comes across to me as a very shy man, be possibly had issues as a child which he hasn't come to terms with. His liaison with Charlie hasn't helped his cause. His explanation of his past life where he says that he could never express himself and that he couldn't speak to people and said very little. Stifled and locked in ,he must have been very angry inside. He says acting classes have helped him release his inner demons. He's a thinker, how deep is questionable. He knows and stated last night that the show is about personality and is a popularity contest, both inside and outside. As an aside, Jayne also stated that you cannot play the game, much as I have been saying for years. She wasn't that eloquent putting her point across but the gist of it was, it's quantum maths and you just cannot play the game. Too many variables with the biggest being the fact that BB grass you up all of the time and the other is the public- play the game as well as you like, if the public don't like you or apply the rules of our conditioned life to what they are viewing then you don't stand a chance. Back to Jason. I think his primary goal is to last as long as possible to get his face and name known to help his 'acting' cause. I don't see him setting the small screen alight with his lovey skills, he looked really embarrassed when they were playing Ryan's game in the garden, it was excruciating to watch, he clearly was very uncomfortable cavorting around the garden with the sacking on. He comes across as very one dimensional. |

Nobel Laureate Paul Samuelson once famously said; "Well when events change, I change my mind. What do you do?" and it is no different with Jason who has encountered a far different type of environment within the house than the friendly one he had envisaged. No person is 'one dimensional' and ALL people undergo personality changes as they grow older - we all are, to a degree, what other people have made us - so if Jason has a 'bad side', then which NORMAL person has not? Whether that 'bad side' becomes THE side, depends upon if it NEEDS to be for self-preservation purposes because other people are taking the natural 'good' side and pissing all over it. Do you rely on a knife in a gunfight?

Remembering Kerry
|
From what I have seen ,he is not a bad man,he does need to lighten up and accept people are not all the same but he is one of the better ones in there, way above Alex, Laura, Sam,Jayne and Evelyn at the very least.
