Big Brother's "most hated" housemate has apparently been forced into hiding after receiving death threats from angry fans of the show.

Argumentative Charley Uchea has been living at her sister Jade's house, as she is too scared to return to the house in Lewisham she shares with her mum, Star magazine reports.

Charley has suffered abuse from strangers in the street, and while filming The Friday Night Project, allegedly had her hair extensions ripped out by audience members.

A source told Star: "A large number of the public hates her and some have been making their feelings clear with threats.

"She's aware that some crazy people have taken the show far too seriously and she doesn't want to risk coming back until things have died down."

Charley said: "I can't believe that I was so bad in the house that anyone would want to kill me. It's crazy. I know I was a bitch but I'm not a bad person.

"To think that there could be nutters out there wanting to hurt me is horrible."

Charley Uchea has flew out for a holiday in Spain - to escape the backlash she has received over her behaviour in the Big Brother house.

The 22-year-old It girl has been sent death threats from some fans of the show, and is too frightened to return to her London home. She was advised by police that leaving the country until the situation calms down would be the best move to make.

A source told the Daily Star: "It's no shock she's afraid to go home. A large number of the public hates her and some have been making their feelings clear with threats. She's aware that some crazy people have taken the show too seriously, and she doesn't want to risk coming back until things die down."

i never liked her but she should not be treated with death threats . not being able to stay in your home country is just darn nasty and they are no better than charley was in the bb house .

One of the papers has already printed pics of her I read. She apparently flew out over the weekend, and it's apparently for a photo shoot. There are so many conflicting stories though it is hard to know what to believe.

She is the best thing that ever happened to Big Brother. This is why we are all still writing about her and talking about her. The house mates are always mentioning her name and basically BB8 is not as good without her. Simple as. She may not have been the nicest or most positive role model but she was one of the best characters ever!

shows U how much people have lost their perspective, and have nothing better to do than threatened a tv character. But Charley said a week ago she was flying away for a magazine shoot. I am sure she received death threats, as people are morons, but that wont be areason for her to leave the country

Probably a load of crap from the press as usual. She probably went on holiday and it's being blown out of proportion as her "going into hiding".

But if it's true, then there are some very sad people out there.
