Default No escape from political correctness

As suspected, Michelle was joking about all the 'jealously' with Stu and teasing us. All this possessive, psychotic nonsense that's been banded about was a complete misinterputation of a girl who wanted to have fun.

But is it hardly surprisingy people jump to these conclusions? As a nation, we're are losing our sense of fun, and getting more and more obsessed with political correctness.

It's a shame housemates can't put on these personas to entertain us without being hated and vilified.

Well it still seems like she was trying to sugar-coat her true feelings by pretending she was saying the comments lightly.

If that's her sense of humour, I don't get it.

I thought it was obvious from just watching the show that she was jealous.

There are a thousand examples, but how about when in the bedsit she kept saying that Stuart was disrespecting her?

Whatever she said in the bedsit would have been no different had she been watching the events unfold on her TV at home.

The public shouldn't take everything said literally. I agree she was a little jealous, but was that abnormal for someone who has strong feelings for another person? That to me is perrfectly normal behaviour. Had she not expressed any feelings at all, the cynics would have been saying her affection for Stu was just a sham.

she admitted it herself, see's a jealous person, so what?
if you watch e4 you could cleary see her taunts aimed at shell were in jest!
george orwells book was a warning about powerful forces manipulating the masses. between ch4 and the tabloids his fears are coming true.
ch4 are willing nadia to win (one of the reasons the pub quiz was scraped) so this week they shall target her next highest competition........ aka dan, watch how they put him in a jaded light now, bet they'll play up on his moods and saying he'll walk in the last week, just my humble opinion.

All i can say is those that can't resist from making a normal girl with normal human reaction in to some sort of villain. They themselves must be pretty insecure people to put a normal person down in order to make themselves feel better.

Some brainless jerk on Digital Spy now wants a "Hate" campaigne against Shell.

Another poster reported a conversation about two teen girls talking about Michelle and were wishing her dead.

How sick has this nation got to get before it gets
better.......

Political correctness will be the downfall of democracy. Correction it is the downfall of democracy......
The principle of freedom of speach is meaningless if others are allowed to pick and choose which parts of speech should be free or otherwise.

what, we saw she was jealous, and the comment she made was just so she would seem "not jealous", lol.
save her own skin from being called bunny boiler.
i can see your point tho, with britain being less fun, voting the best housemates out, like marco and victor, and keeping the boring ones like nadia in, and lettin the boring ones (nadia) win

I wouldn't say it was nothing to worry about when we have children killing children as recent years have shown. animal cruelty is rampant by psychotic individuals.

A short while back when I was walking my dog. Some youngster about ten said he wanted to take my dog and burn it.

I am afraid this violent psychotic mentality is a bit more than a harmless minority. I live in a locality where it is sadly quite common.....

i never see anything like that here, only rarely...
i suppose it is something to worry about,
the gettin rid of smacking children, could cause kids to be even more destructive im afraid,
also lookin worse is global warming, (claimed to be a bigger threat than terror), what do ya think of that? (sorry to get off the topic a bit)

Me too Bananarama. Unfortunately it has become a way of life round here. There are that many ASB here. When I was a kid you wouldn't dare do the things they do today incase you got a back hander. There is a strong lack of respect these days, to say the least.

What ever happened to children should be seen and not heard.

Lack of dicipline is the main cause of todays problems. Parenting should be a compulsory subject in schools. There is too much emphasis on academic education and not enough on living with others.....As for smacking..A dificult one this as I can see both sides of the argument for and against.

In the animal world (Of which we are just another part of) the young are sometimes handled roughly to save there lives.

If a child was about to ignor a parent and run out in fronyt of a car. Then a smack as punishment might just save that childs life. In extreme cases of course smacking kills or maims children.

As for global warming. that is a threat but probably not to any one yet living but sooner or later some generation will have to live with the wrath of it all.

Let's be more optimistic and hope that Shell takes up glamour modeling.. Just to bring us back partly on topic..

Yeah I would agree with that......Inevitably though there will be a minority that do get brutal.

So I think the status quo should remain thus far......
