...but this house has been tested/is being tested and stretched and challenged way beyond the point that most people would 'crack' as well, by the purposeful behaviour of Bear...nothing was done to Jason to purposefully make him crack so far as I recall and he did emotionally 'crack' on a few occasions...so I don't really see why there would be criticism of Katie for the method in which she displays 'crack' through her release of tears.../we all have different releases of 'crack' and being pushed to that crack...she didn't howl just because someone called Amy Winehouse a crack head, she didn't cry just because of what Biggins said or because or her nominating Bear or because of her balloon being burst because there is no 'just because' in there, it's all a huge build up of the stress/the tension and the winding up etc...it's all of those things as a collectiveness and how so many are feeling in there..(and we know that because of the constant and repeated comments from the housemates of what life with Bear is creating for them all and even Marnie and Lewis, his closer supporters have commented to on him going too far at certain things..)...and all of those things and how they're being released and for Katie it's with tears, which is a pretty harmless way and hurts no other housemate or threatens no other housemate in any way and etc....

..I can actually understand in such a house and with such self protection against the negative environment that there is no escape from, how a balloon being protected becomes such a focus and her upset at it being purposefully burst by that very antagonist that she was thankful of a task to escape/to escape that negativity for a short while..but boom, the balloon was burst by him and her little haven of focus of some small shred of something less negative was burst also and she was snapped back into 'Bearworld'...she's not a wuss, she's someone who is trying to self-protect against a house of hostility which is being purposefully created for amusement and tears are how she's releasing....

She lives there as far as I know( never heard of her before CBB) but don't think she's been there long ,I cannot remember when she said she moved there .her silly accent Even Rylan took the pee out of her about it last night

I think she has been backwards and forwards to the states since her X factor rejection but i believe she has been living there about a year but could be wrong.

Yeah i think its about that but she has been stayed over there often before moving there.
It is odd how she goes into full American accent. I remember Joss Stone getting the pee taken out of her because she came back from the states with an accent and she had been living there for about 3-4 years!

I love you, Ammi! You have such an insightful understanding of human behaviour, and as always, you are totally right about Katie and the reason for the tears.. It is clear how so many of them are feeling this way, even though their responses differ.

But they know this Amy, before they go in..it's Big Brother not a weekend break.....she can react anyway she likes but how she reacts has different implications and in the case of Biggins it's threatened to destroy his livelihood and his name...unfortunate for him and for her and maybe unavoidable because of the kind of person she is but we can't ignore that it's happened. Maybe she should consider leaving if it's too much to bear. She's not tough enough to handle it. If it's a build up and the environment that are the reason she keeps crying then the kindest thing for her to do would be to at least explain that to people like Chloe, imagine how Chloe must have felt about it. She may feel upset but she's upsetting other poeple as a result, as a lot of them are, but in her case it's making villains out of people who don't deserve it as opposed to Heavy and Bear who are making victims out of people who don't always deserve it. For the most part though, when Bear and Heavy upset people those people have usually done something to cause them to bahave like pricks, even if it's only because they have reacted to Bear and Heavy and lost their cool ...but the people who fall victim to Katie's reaction have meant no harm when they've said the things they have said.
Maybe it's not been shown but I've seen no sign that Katie feels bad about how her reaction to Biggins contributed to him being removed and shamed.

Well Biggins nominated him out of 15 housemates week one....six people gave him killer noms last Friday ...This week the housemates have put him up for eviction...three times, that we know about, BB have called him to the diary room to calm down....Siara thinks he's offensive, Lewis thinks he's bad mannered and greedy, James thinks he's annoying and Sam said she can't cope with him singing all the time. And of course then there's Chloe.

So yeh, I am putting him and Bear on a par with each other. I don't know why one is a villain and one is a saint.

I don't need to list Bears annoyance again, you've just provided the list yourself, again, we all recognise and accept it...it's the reason some of us like watching him....so what's the point of keep dredging over it...we know already....we get it...Big Bad Bear is a wrong un and we like it.
It's this idea of Heavy not being annoying and not being offensive that I'm struggling with.....I like watching Bear cause he acts like a bell end, which is true....you seem to like Heavy because he acts like a friendly misunderstood guy, which is not true.
If Bear wasn't so basic I would prob like him too cause he's a proper wind up merchant but I'm never gonna be interested in a bloke who dresses like a school boy gangster and shouts Boom 50 times a day like a pleb....what ever floats people's boat, just not my cup of tea.
