If BB13 had VTE the boot order would have been... pretty much the same?

Yeah it annoys me when people use BB13 as a way to defend VTS because the only result that might have been different was the double eviction 3 days before the final which wouldn't have impacted the series anyway

I hate VTS, they always use it on CBB I think because the celeb fans vote more?

VTE is literally always better. Like if the past eviction had been VTE Bear would've gone and the series could've finally improved, but instead we're stuck with him until the final

Yep 2016 is the year of me realising that Vote to Save actually sucks (that's not to say Vote to Evict doesn't have its flaws but atm it is much better than VTS)

Sorry to disagree but I do.
Had this been vote to evict certainly likely Bear or even heavy D may have gone. Love or hate them both are much bigger characters that Saira ever was or could have been. Vote to evict would have likely got more voting to get Bear out, leaving his supporters unable to do anything. I still prefer vote to save for the fact it allows the supporters of housemates to call the shots. With them then having the chance to save their favourites, over perhaps organised voting to get behind voting a housemate out under vote to evict. |

I would rather that than have organised campaigns to vote one housemate out under vote to evict. |

I tend not onto get too personally invested anyway, I'd prefer it just to stay as interesting as possible (e.g. Tonight is a good example; I personally can't stand Heavy D but am happy that Saira went rather than him, because there's more that interesting to watch with Heavy). My main exception would be Helen Wood. I won money on her, but found her impossible to watch. Then again I'm a sucker for an Irish accent so... |

Well VTS is on shows like TXF and IAC and I can only think of James Arthur and Leona Lewis that were decent winners from both shows combined.
So yeah BB is gonna have problems with VTS as the public vote on it. Edit... the public like to watch entertaining Housemates/performers, but they'll never vote for them to win as the public vote on wholesome when they go to a public vote.

2. Chelsea was more entertaining so the right result happened there imo. 3. I totally agree with, but Jason won the series despite doing nothing all series so he was safe in both voting formats.

haha VTS is still better. It's unfortunate that 4 big characters were up for eviction this week and sadly Saira was a casualty, but VTS is the reason why the biggest villain on the show is still in the house. Lets face it, Bear is a talking point and is riling everyone up and he would've been evicted with VTE. And viewers want to see drama unfold. Are people tuning in to see a happy house?
VTE is boring and predictable. Seriously what is so exciting about it? With VTS, I had no clue who was going tonight. Honestly though, the show would be much better if the entire house was up with a VTS and it would be cool if a few people were given a chance to save themselves every week by taking part in challenges. And if everyone was up, then we would've gotten rid of Samantha and Ricky (because how many people would vote for them?) - although I don't actually mind them, but they have contributed the least. Either way, the producers don't want to fully change the rules, so be it. But VTS is still beneficial because 80% of the time, it produces good results. With VTE, you know exactly who will be eliminated (the one who causes the most arguments/drama/controversy) and that is boring knowing that the biggest character will get evicted over the dull ones.
