Jaime Murray has been cast as the Black Fairy
 I've wanted to meet this character ever since she was mentioned back in Season 3 and Jaime Murray is great as shady bitches   http://tvline.com/2016/11/15/once-up...y-black-fairy/ The next episode is called "Changelings" so I'd hoped they'd have it be an episode with some fairy lore. (Still need to watch this week's  )

 Also, Alan Dale is returning as King Widmore. I mean King George. I LOATHE him ever since he killed Cinderella's mouse so I want him to get his comeuppance

Last episode was good, I love the Queen but it's great that she's getting some character development beyond just being evil. A dark side wouldn't necessarily mean evil so I do hope we see some more shades of grey when it comes to her.

Just watched the latest episode, loved it
Really cool finally seeing where Sidney was all those years he was trapped in the mirror The Dragon mentioning his lost daughter has to end up significant. My first thought would be Lily but, well, I'm unsure for obvious reasons. Mulan perhaps? Speaking of, I still think he's Mushu, even more so after seeing him in red dragon mode "All she sees is a mirror. And that hideous dress"

I think this series has outdone 4 and 5 and actually is improving with each episode.
I thought they could've been a bit more imaginative with the mirror world, but other than that, bringing the main story/focus to the originals (especially Regina) was a smart move. Let them carry their own show.

Anyone watched this week's? I really liked the Black Fairy (brief as her appearance was) and hope we see her again. Although, it was billed as the episode that explained Rumple's long-standing hatred of fairies but I always thought that was adequately answered back in the first season when the Blue Fairy gave Baelfire the magic bean to travel to another world.
Here for secretly evil Blue raising Gideon to be a villain  She hates Rumple so this is a good chance to turn his son against him if she is indeed as shady as I want her to be (but she probably isn't </3).

ALSO the episode was called Changelings which refers to fairies kidnapping children and they made a point of mentioning that's exactly what the Black Fairy does so that would be awesome foreshadowing of Blue actually being the Black Fairy in disguise and Belle just sent her baby off with her unwittingly.

Black Fairy will be the villain of the next half, I'm guessing.
I'd be here for the Blue Twist but I'm pretty sure that Rumple will just summon her and make a deal with her to find his son in exchange for her wand. |

They said they're not splitting the season into two half arcs this time but I'd love for her to show up as a main villain in the present day eventually.

Is it just me or does Robert Carlyle seem well and truly bored this season?
Especially in the Enchanted Forest scenes he's just not acting as Rumple. |

About time since people have been wondering about her showing up ever since season 2 (back when there was a big Tamara = Tiger Lily theory going round ).Although, I'm never all that into Hook stuff. He just doesn't really interest me but the writers LOVE him (which is why I assume both arcs of Season 5 ended up becoming all about him, I was really enjoying the Camelot story before that unnecessary Dark Hook stuff). |
