What a fantastic monologue Will, it's a talking head that Alan Bennet would be proud to have directed. Thank you for sharing this snippet of your family and their history.
What a lovely woman, she not having come from a generation where either of the latter topics were very common has approached them both with humility, so much respect and admiration for her.
Her open heart and mind shine through in her voice, you are lucky to have had such a positive force in your life, treasure her. x

I've got loads more clips! There's one clip where she talks about meeting Johnny Ray and she was live on Australian TV and they were like talking and she had no idea it was being aired. She was giving him a present because she founded like a fan club for him and they had gone to meet him.

I'll make a extended version, as half of what I got isn't in this edit.

Yeah, it's hard to notice, she seems to have made a full recovery very quickly.

..yeah I never knew my grandmothers Lily, well one I vaguely recall but they both died when I was so young, which is why I always think grandmothers are such special and precious things...
