i think the Mil's v Gen-X is an interesting theme because it demonstrates how superficial and unexamined the characters of US young people have become. Put another way, they sure are boring and silly. It might take them a long time to mature into anything of depth it seems, if ever. The problem is, it's not that great for a TV show, particularly one that can create some real drama if the contestants and themes of the show are more carefully chosen. For sure, just scrap this generational theme for the show.

It's the other way round, the theme is boring (very over generalised American concept of two supposedly precise groups which I didn't even know about before) but the season is good because it doesn't revolve around a limited theme.
