Twins shocked at no makeup for Kara
The twins have expressed their horror at Kara-Louise being forbidden to wear makeup at school.
“We thought we were really naughty wearing clear nail polish, you would be hoping you didn't get caught,” laughed the Londoner, joking: “[We’d say] - no, my nails are naturally this shiny!”
“Did you not wear foundation?” gasped Amanda.
“No one could wear it,” Kara-Louise explained. “I do remember this girl trying to wear mascara but she got stopped in her tracks.”
“One time I did get told off because I had bright blue eyeshadow on,” revealed Sam. “I was like ‘I can come to school in eyeshadow, but my teacher told me to wipe it off.”
“We could only dream of wearing that!” said Kara-Louise. “They were so [strict]. You had to wear a green or a brown hair band, you could not wear your hair down, it had to be up.”
“What about when girls got quite bad skin when they were younger? Could they not cover it up?” enquired Amanda.
“Not really. It wasn’t a surprise, it had just always been like that,” Kara-Louise responded. “It wasn’t an option for us.”
“Kara, you’re so lucky to have dead normal skin,” simpered the twins as a flattered Kara-Louise flushed and protested.
