Not only that but the PS4 isn't even new any more, it's at least mid-cycle... You can easily pick up a 2nd hand original PS4 with games for under Ł150 now. PS3 has had its day, it's just not profitable for them to spend resources on making PS3 versions of most games. Especially because it's not just a matter of scaling back settings... PS3 had that weird custom chip architecture so it needs loads of coding work.

I still use my PS3, but only for Netflix and Fifa. If I was a bigger 'gamer' then i'd definitely upgrade to a PS4. There's not much point doing that though for just one game lol.

Although, saying that, I have played Fifa 17 on the PS4 and it's 10x better than the PS3 version
