We have family in Aldeburgh so we know Thorpeness well. The cliffs are more like large sand banks and so this poor guy and his dog were likely buried under mounds of sand.
Lots of people dog walk along that beach including us when we are over that way. The man was just very unlucky so lets have a little compassion shall we.
