I'd imagine people with vaginas would be the only people able to get a UTI from a bath bomb?

I hate baths and I'd probably get an allergic reaction to the scents and stuff in those products anyway.

There is a difference between taking risks with your career and taking risks with your health though. I can't even use normal soap, not going to dive into something I'm not sure about.

You sound like my grandmother. She is allergic to everything under the sun. I have to be very careful at Christmas what to get her... can't even get her bath kits as much as I love hygeine-y stuff.

I don't know what a bath bomb is, I've never seen them here, but I prefer to steer clear of excess chemicals. I'm prone to UTI's, but that's not really my main concern. I take a bath to cleanse/detoxify my body, not put more in it...

I have a 5' deep tub with jets and I'll put magnesium/epsom salt soaks in there. It has a scent with it, and it's not so heavily scented that it feels like it is counterproductive. A lot of bath kits I've received or purchased (mainly the cheaper stuff),, they have so much scent, you'd think you were bathing with perfume... that to me is a sign of a bad bath kit imo and is much more likely to cause skin irritation...

Anyway I really like aromatherapy, but I like the organic benefits from the ingredients not the chemical smell... and certainly don't need more access to dyes. Can't stand those body washes that leave a layer of "something" on them after usage... yes, it's moisturizer I think... but I prefer to add my moisturizer on separately so I know that it's exactly what my skin needs, not something they just added for the "effect" of moisturizing.

Ive read that it's quite common amd it's called lush thrush
After every bath I use a bath bomb in I usually shower over just in case and it removes the glitter and stuff

UTI = urinary tract infection (caused by bacteria, e.coli, etc). I think you're talking about yeast infections, which are more annoying than serious.

The reason a bath bomb, other cleaners might cause a UTI is it tampers with the pH (and therefore kills good bacteria). That could lead to e.coli subsequently getting into your body that way and causing an infection. So washing after won't necessarily fix that. The other cause is wiping the wrong direction.

Most people who are prone to them are told to stay away from scented product (such as TP and douching) and underwear that doesn't ventilate well. I go further and say stay away from dyed products as well. I notice foods with certain dyes cause my stomach to lose it's **** and also causes skin irritation/dryness so I stay away from excess dyes...

I think it doesn't help that we have a vagina, no A lot of diseases/conditions seem to largely favor women... on the other hand, you do have to worry about prostate cancer. So maybe one thing I can think of that has to do with pelvic

I don't know many men who have had UTI's actually... only one I can think of and he had a host of issues, including chronic kidney stones and had to have surgery for something related to that.
