They would be paying £11:50 already
each day like all other drivers but any Old Car or Van from before 2006 another £10 ( from Oct this year). £21:50 per day to drive your bloody stinking old car into London. Makes Sense. Ref: ITV1 London News And yes TS this will effect the Poor folks more, Sign Of The Times |

To be honest a city like London could do with banning non-commercial / public transport traffic entirely, with an exception for blue badge holders also. Replacing it with efficient and free/cheap public transport for all.
With that being unrealistic, though, I think 2006 is a little bit harsh? There are plenty of pre-2006 cars that are hardly spewing out emissions. It should be based purely on the emissions output of the car. A 2005 focus is quite obviously producing a lot less pollution than a 2007 transit |

Yes TS
the best way is to get the Engine modified/updated and avoid the extra charge As your car or van is cleaner output now. |
