I suppose, although I'd weigh up the effect of that against the potential benefits it could have. They could at least trial it as an experiment I think to ascertain the impact of the abuses.

Yes that's true, I used to live with someone who smoked and he suffered from extreme paranoia and he became a nightmare, but there's a difference between recreational use and medicinal use.
