Lana didn't reduce her single which meant she wasn't able to secure a top 20 position, although shes not a singles artist so shes done alright, her album will do alright. I may have overestimated Lana considering she managed to boss out streaming straight away as she had a lot of appeal. But I've never put Lana on a huge foothold to sell tonnes or be a 'big star' or even be hugely relevant.

I am actually proud of Gagaa that shes managed as many weeks in the Top 40 with The Cure as her last 2 singles combined, such long longetivity 'queen of pop'. Really shows reducing the price of her song after just 5 days really can help her get that #19 smash hit.

Lana hasn't had a top 20 song since her two debut singles, #38 is not a 'drop' or decline in her singles chart history, GaGa's past three years however

Summertime Sadness didn't even chart, if you're talking about a remix by Cedraic Gervais, well thats not Lana's song nor is it on her album.

Lana Del Rey's 'Summertime Sadness' didn't chart, I don't get whats so hard to understand xD.

A remixed version of her song did, but thats not on her album nor was it 'her hit', Gervais remixed it.

Lady GaGa just isn't relevant anymore, she lasted two albums. Such a shame.

I've seen GaGa fans laugh at Rih and Katy getting top 5 hits saying they had 'flopped' because it didn't reach #1, but look at Gaga's last three years. Now GaGa fans are acting as if discounted single at #19 is classed as a 'hit'

I've seen on this forum other pop acts get destroyed or laughed at for not reaching #1 or only just reaching the top #5, It's just the reverse, don't be bitter - I can accept Lana didn't do 'amazing' and I'm happy to say that. I don't bump this thread, I just respond to messages I'm quoted for
