a dark anthem rises on this sunny day
where oh where...could puppy stray
my heads a mess full of stress
i'm in a panic i must confess

wait there's a ring on the dog 'n bone
a strange man gruff in tone
we're waiting here with your tara
phe..eew i think i give a quick hurrah

it was gonna be pounds that man wanted
i'm eager to pay...anything granted
but i learn the truth the harshest way
puppy prefers her new home 'n wants to stay
