Default Abbot in charge of security - scary

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...-a7759241.html

Corbyn will put Abbot, who refused to condemn Al-Qaeda and wants open borders, in charge of security and borders - would the majority really be happy with that.

Don't forget the IRA as well, oh, but as she has said, she has 'moved on' since then.

0f course she has - my arse. I don't believe a word that woman says.

Doesn't that put a big question mark over Corbyn's judgement. Suggests to me he feels the same way as her - so I don't trust him either.

She follows where he leads.
Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott.
All in it together.

Diane Abbot in response to the remark she said 30 years ago about the IRA defeating the British State as a "good thing" said that she had an afro then and now she doesn't so that means she has changed her mind? If you want a reason for why Labour will be decimated in the GE then blame this stupid, stupid woman.

Would it be as bad as putting a man who wrote a book on how to dismantle the NHS in charge of the NHS?... Oh, wait...

You couldn't make it up, she is an absolute asset to the Tories.
Most people change their hairstyles over the years but stick to their views and principles, she is no different, just tries to chop and change to fit any given agenda nowadays it seems, similar to Corbyn and MCDonnell.

She essentially admitted that she supported the IRA in their efforts to destroy the British state and sweetie it doesn't matter even if you have changed your mind you cannot be Home Secretary after admitting that.

Not suggesting she was ever supportive of the IRA yet if she was supportive of independance and she's changed her mind what's wrong with that?

Theresa May changed her mind on ..Well lots of things actually I forget just how many now.
Tony Blair has stated he was wrong to start all manner of illegal wars... changing your mind can be a good thing

Theresa's allowed to change her mind on policies like she can't decide on a meal in a restaurant because she's gonna get rid of all the immigrants 'innit?

Seems to me there are poor choices all round however the previous Home Secretary,Mrs May was way too confrontational and failed across the board in near all she had to do.

Doubt Abbott would be any worse, however it is not always guaranteed what office an MP may get after an election.
Abbott would not be my choice as Home Secretary but nor would the current useless ornament doing it,Amber Rudd.
Certainly the last one too,Mrs May should have never been in any prominent position.

To be fair, an anti-Abbot thread is the best argument against Labour I've seen in weeks on here. I'll be honest, I don't know much about her, but she does come off as daft. No less daft than May, but daft nonetheless.

This actually does put a big question mark on my Labour vote.I thought he might get rid of her after all her gaffs.
I'm not sure I could live with myself if she actually got in any position of responsibility.

Might not vote at all tbh.
Im not even talking about this IRA stuff either.I'd kind of forgotten about her.
