Poverty, the word used for low income.
No absolute poverty nowadays.

He and no one else has said there is absolute poverty.
However there is poverty, are you saying the 5th richest Nation should consider it acceptable to have any kind of poverty.
I certainly don't think that acceptable.

People assume that poverty means poverty.
It is based on different standards to real poverty.
Why don't they just call it what it is, say more people are on low incomes rather than in poverty.

That doesn't make sense.
You listed absolute poverty in your post,I stated poverty.

For instance this govt considers people in energy poverty if a certain percentage of their disposable income goes on it.

Low incomes help create poverty actually.

Well it makes sense to me.
I stated both absolute poverty and poverty.
One doesn't exist and the other is now a word that covers ' low income'.
The more wages go up, the more people will go into 'poverty'.
Not because they are any worse off, but because some people will be better off.
All to do with percentages and median wage.

Do you know how many didn't cheer? It may well be the majority didn't - loud does not represent truth - just an illusion of it.

True, the same as the aggressive way some questions are asked.

This lot would be tearing her to shreds. But if it's Corbyn out come the defensive excuses.

This country will not be safe in his hands.

As a Corbyn supporter, I acknowledge that he handled that question terribly, however we're not electing him as a leader in a nuclear war, so it's not really an issue at the forefront.

I think his hate for and position as to nuclear weapons has been known for decades.
He hasn't changed his position ever.

His ideology hasn't changed, but it just doesn't make sense, we need it as much if not more now than ever.
As a deterrent, and that won't work if you publicly say you won't arm them or press the button.

He didn't say he wouldn't press it. He said he'd work to prevent a scenario where he wouldn't be in that situation.

He stuttered and stammered his way around that question which provided absolutely zero faith in his honesty for me.

He has in the past, and saying not at first resort is exactly the same as not bothering.

He has said he'd sign all the necessary letters related to it.
I'd rather hope no one would ever have to enact same for the sake of the planet, not just for the UK alone.
