tbf she said two months (=8 weeks) on launch last year, and it ended up being 7, so I don't think length claims at the start of a series means anything really

9 weeks is the least to have a full on experience and see all the personalities evolved in the long run.
I was really frustrated last year because I felt the housemates had so much more to give before being set free. On the other hand, I could have done just fine with 5 weeks of BB16! Anyway, 8 weeks at least. 9 and even better 10 are the right amount. I still miss the old 12 to 13 weeks we used to have.
