LONDON (Reuters) - Portuguese transsexual Nadia Almada has won the fifth series of the reality TV show "Big Brother".
"There are no words that can show my happiness inside me," said the runaway favourite after winning the show on Friday.
After ten weeks of living cheek-to-cheek in the camera-filled house, four final housemates faced a public vote on Friday to decide which of them should win the 63,500 pounds prize.
Art student Shell Jubin, 22, from Glasgow, was first to be thrown out after securing the fewest votes. She was soon followed by third-placed Dan Bryan, a 30-year-old hairdresser from Hull.
In the final head-to-head Almada beat former nude model Jason Cowan, also 30, from Glasgow.
Almada, never shy to bare her breasts, is expected to walk into lucrative television and newspaper contracts after winning the reality show.
Before her incarnation into Nadia, the chain-smoking 27-year-old was Jorge Almada, the eldest of six sons.
