I'm a tad bit confused, I thought the Celeb BB wasn't going ahead anymore? So what type of BB will be in January?

There is an "experimental" BB going ahead on E4 in January, as confirmed by Controller of E4 and Commissioning Editor of Big Brother Angela Jain at the Edinburgh Television Festival. It is a Big Brother "very specifically tailored for E4". That's all we know at the moment.

I wonder if the early "BB9 auditions" are so that they can choose the experimental housemates also at the same time.

No, the summer 1 will be in the summer 1 and the January one will be on E4 only in January. The early auditions are probably to audition for both shows.

BB9 won't be in january coz in the terms and conditions of the BB9 auditions it says you can apply as long as your 18 during the summer of 2008
