I am going for more manipulative.mind games on the public, i assume he thinks he will be up once the newbie thing plays out and settles down after next round of noms. So he has to get the voters on side.

IMO Andrew will keep persuing him as he is desperate for the showmance and his gameplan is to lodge himself firmly up Raphs backside to leech his popularity. but Raph doesn't seem to be playing along.
