Today my husband was delighted to find that the bike (cycling) he really wants was being advertised for 'free'! Its normal price is £3,595 but today its price tag was zero.
I told him to order it and see what happens. It wouldn't allow him to do that so he put an order in for a pair of cycle socks and then it allowed him to order the bike as well. He used PayPal just in case they tried to take the full wack. He's got about ten quid in that account. He got an email this afternoon saying both his goods (two parcels) have been dispatched and will arrive tomorrow. Do you think he's going to get this bike ? or do you think there will be one sock in one parcel and the other sock in the other?

Sometimes adverts like that say E&OE (Errors and omissions excepted) somewhere, which means if they make a mistake about the price they don't have to honour it.

Could be socks in one parcel and instructions on how to put on in the other.
Be great if he got the free bike though. There's always trading standards if it turns out to be a con. |
