Honestly like LT I don't see the Mail itself celebrating.
The tile is -

'ISIS goes up in smoke: US air strike pounds small remaining area of Mosul held by the terror group as Iraq declares victory in the city after a bloody eight-month battle'

No whooping and cheering from the Mail even in the title.

Plenty of pics of Iraqis celebrating but I won't condemn them for that since they've just been involved in a long and bloody battle to take their city back from an evil death cult who've been slaughtering them every day.I'd be fecking cheering too.

Then Emanuel Macron and Michael Fallon say this -

'French President Emmanuel Macron - whose country is part of the coalition that has conducted airstrikes and provided training and assistance to Iraqi forces on the battlefield, welcomed the defeat.

He tweeted: 'Mosul liberated from ISIS: France pays homage to all those, who alongside our troops, contributed to this victory.'

Britain's Defence Minister Michael Fallon also praised Iraq on Sunday for defeating the Islamic State group - referring to the militants by its Arabic name Daesh - in Mosul but warned that more has to be done to combat the jihadists.'

'I congratulate Prime Minister (Haider) Abadi, and the Iraqi forces who have been fighting on the ground with great bravery and care against a brutal opponent,' Fallon said in a statement.

'Daesh has total disregard for innocent civilian life and we should welcome their defeat in a city that was ground zero for their so-called caliphate,' he added, using an Arabic acronym for IS.

As part of Britain's involvement in the US-led coalition against the jihadist group, Fallon said British forces had struck 750 targets in the battle for Mosul.

But 'there is still more to do' around the city and in the broader region, Fallon said.

'This barbaric group remains dug in west of the Euphrates and clearing operations in and around Mosul will be needed because of the threat from improvised explosive devices,' he added.

I suppose you could interpret those two as celebrating.Again not the site itself though.

Just because you personally don't know or aren't aware of certain words doesn't mean they don't exist, Brillo.
Fair enough I wasn't aware of Judeophobia.

To 'fear' something is not a crime and many believe there is good reason to 'fear'' Islam due to its many bigoted and hateful teachings such as those that incite the murder of non-believers. We hear plenty of that here in Britain.

I don't know about that - but that was about 70+ years ago.

I really don't think a fair comparison can be made between the two. I'm sure there weren't billions/millions of Jews in Europe and they weren't committing terrorist acts against us.

Were there young Jewish men coming into Britain And Europe then and raping young girls. You can't deny migrant men having been molesting, raping and murdering young women/girls in Europe. No comparison at all.

You ''don't know'' much about much but it still doesn't stop you from constantly posting wildly innacurate, mis-informed and generally inflammatory racially discriminatory rubbish does it. Like this prime example below.

You can't deny that many, many more women/girls have been molested, raped and murdered in Europe by European Nationals than by immigrants but you never seem to comment about that do you ? It seems that for you to be 'outraged' by anything it has to be connected to immigrants or foreign nationals.

As the Jews have been dragged into the equation once again, I'll say what I always say: Jews have suffered.... Muslims have suffered... the difference being that Jews have not roamed the world blowing the arms and legs off innocent people - including their own people. Jews do not want their religion to spread across the world - indeed, Jews don't recruit. While it's right to remember that Muslims have suffered at the hands of IS more than anyone, IS and all those other despicable organisations associated with terror in the name of Allah, deserve a little celebration when it's been other Muslims that have bombed them out of existence. Those fighting IS in Iraq have done the world a service, supported by the West. I see that as a reason for celebration while respectfully remembering the dead.
