This has really bugged me for the whole series. The fact that Raph is a gay man, of mixed race, living in a country he wasn't born in "claims" to have voted for Trump.

And NO-ONE in the house has really pulled him up on it. There was one small exchange about it when he came up with the line "I thought the country needed new leadership" and that was the end of it.

Now maybe none of the housemates are intelligent enough to debate politics since they don't even know when Brexit is happening or that it IS happening but still.

There are a number of different options here, none of which paint Raph in a pleasant way:

1. He told an out and out bare faced lie to get into the house.
2. He's a hypocrite who's more interested in the American economy than human rights.
3. He's an idiot who thought it would be cool to go against the popular opinion. Not stopping to think that sometimes the popular opinion is just that because it's the correct one.

Either way, on any of the above I would really like him to be challenged much more on this.

It's the one thing left that will mean I will never be happy with a Raph win.

The intelligence level of the cast is embarrassingly low, probably why Arthur did a runner after the first week. There is lots to be found out and questioned about all of the cast, not just Raph, but there has been zero of that, its all been about smut, aggression and confrontation. It couldn't actually be further away from reality and its a disgrace to the original concept of the show

He also votes Lib Dem, which is cool, but he won't get my vote even though we Lib Dems should stick together

Why would they pull him up on something that has no semblance to their time in the house?

He discussed it at length a few weeks back during the hippy task.

It does have relevance to his time in the house. The whole idea is that it's supposed to be a multi-cultural house, the exact antithesis of what Trump stands for.

They did not discuss it at length, the conversation was literally what I said above.

Get over your paranoia and don't be so bitchy as to wish Isabelle gone just because she's going to beat him.

They did discuss it, he said he felt they were both bad options and he went for what he felt had more to offer.

This is such an old topic, the only reason it was created was because we are so close to the final. Why can't Isabelle just win fairly, no need to tear others down on here.

When you look at the audition tapes, most had like a focus sentence which I suspect helped them get into the house.

Raph's was definitely "I voted for Donald Trump"
Lotan's was "I've got my penis insured for £3728462 million"
Sukhvinder and Imran's were that they got married in secret

I feel like that for C5, if you haven't got an agent, you have to say something that will get you noticed. Something controversial.
