Well this years scheduling is proving they are giving up on the show I mean they are pitting it against a programme that gets between 7 and 9 million viewers when they could put it on at 10pm to avoid this.
Are they finally killing off the show?

Moving it from 10 to 9 to 10:30 is why everyone said they were treating BBUK like rubbish... now you're blaming them for not doing it to CBB?

It's important for there to be consistency in the scheduling imo. There's always going to be other shows to compete against but you have to have confidence in what is one of your flagship shows that it can still attract viewers

Erm the championship athletics plus last night Poldark which got 5 million. It seems you allways need to question my posts when you could easily go look at what it was up against. Stop being lazy x

I think keeping CBB on at 9pm even against tough competition is a good move. It would just attract a large +1 audience if people wanted to watch it anyways. Consistency is key.

Well they have their new love island rip off on at 10 so they're hardly gonna sabotage that on the first episode

I agree I would rather it on At 9pm everynight but for however long these athletics are on they should plan ahead and it's just very lazy production wise.....where are the "coming up tonight on cbb" short adverts?

I agree with you about that, the promotion has been abysmal this year.

CBB is always 9pm, BB is always 10pm (apart from BB18 when god knows what time it was)

- but they might move it to a non main channel - such as 5 star or something like that - They still make fortunes from it - and its a gamble to stop making it. Such a shame they aren't promoting it. They need to just pay a DM colluminist to pay to say how its an interesting phscholigical experiment - and use real examples and then job done. Apparent the DM only Charges Ł35,000 per article so i dont know why they havent done it and the reason my mum wont watch it is because of 'Marcus' it needs to be promoted as a serious programe and then when naturally humourous things happen - it will get press. I know Im not the target market - I am in my 30's and the advertisers want 15 years olds = its called ''establishing a brand whilst their young'' - its like apparently - you should spend Ł5 on Loreal - because they advertise the older people already know that advertising is rubbish. |

They need to keep the scheduling consistent in order to retain an audience, regardless of the competition. Changing times can confuse and push away viewers. Keeping times consistent means people will automatically think 'oh Big Brother is on at 9'.
I've almost missed out eps because of messy scheduling with civilian BB (as a BB fan!), so it's no wonder people tune out when inconsistent scheduling becomes a regular thing. Sadly scheduling is only one of a million problems with Big Brother at the moment. Sent from my LG-H870 using Tapatalk |

That's not true sometimes bb12 used to finish at almost midnight on evictions...it's never been consistent even on channel 4 it was on at 8pm sometimes but cbb has never allways been on at 9pm.

Turns out you were referring to two different nights/events so my question is validated. It seems nobody can ask you a simple question without getting attitude in return. Last edited by Marsh.; 07-08-2017 at 08:24 PM. |

It seems you're very displeased in general recently, no matter what happens. Celebrity Big Brother would be against something in the ratings no matter what you do or where you put it. I don't think they're "killing the show" as this series has been on for a week now and has actually been a good quality show.

Seriously go away you spinster. There's others here who have agreed the scheduling needs to be consistent and I agree but the production seem to place it up against major competition. It's getting like 1.1 million in overnights now and that's because of the competition.....doesn't take a genius.
