If they do axe it (hopefully they won't) I hope they do this:

CBB21 in January as normal
BB19 in February or the spring so it doesn't clash with LI
UBB2 in late summer/ autumn with iconic BB and CBB housemates returning, lasting 40 days. (SPOILER: Nikki wins)

It shouldn't be axed. Some shows don't even get a million and stay on air

Tbf the ratings for this CBB haven't been awful, just average. Hopefully it will be enough to be renewed.

It's a shell of it's former self, I think the writing is on the wall with that. I don't think there's anything C5 has that ITV2 wouldn't

I *could* see them switching to US format, given it'll be very similar to many of ITV's other reality shows.
ITV wouldn't bother, the rights are really expensive and it must also cost a fortune to produce. They already have an RTV hit with love island so there would be no point in them buying it.

Oh I love being told how to act and feel about a dying reality TV series that will be lucky to reach its twentieth edition!

oh

I think you're more of a dedicated fan if you'd rather see an obviously dying show (as it is on C5) be put out of its misery rather than have it strung out and a dead horse beaten into pure dust

Yes, it is realistic. The ratings are through the floor and the show is sh*te.

Theres a difference between negative and realistic

If people were being negative, they would be saying how they want and how it should be axed

If people were being realistic, which fans are being, they would say they don’t want it to be axed but they can’t see it being renewed; that’s not negative atall. And the OP proved how realistic they are being

You can’t just say someone isn’t a fan when all they are really doing is saying what they think will happen

Keeping your head in the clouds and consistently spouting "I'm a fan" even when the show has actually changed into something you no longer like is worse. That's just denial.

C5 BB's farewell series will air next year, it's obvious.
Can we crown Nikki in UBB2 and let it die (for at least one year) please?

I was speaking to Daniel-X the other day and we said they will probably draw out next year as the 'final year' of BB. They will get the cast they want for CBB21 because of it being the last chance for newbies to go on, they will do a final ever civilian series and then they will do another UBB (but probably named something different). The ratings will be good for all 3 series' and then it'll end with all the fanfare etc. October/November 2018 will arrive and we'll begin to hear of C5 trying to sort out a last minute deal for another 3 series' of CBB/BB....

Yeah I can see CBB21 (or the last newbie CBB, whenever it is) having the best line up they've had in a long time, possibly even the entire history if the show. W will 99% get those such as Sinitta who pull out last minute every year because they know there won't be another chance and I can see literally 2 or 3 reality stars doing it, but big ones who've been on love island and not the ****ty EOTB ones.

The love Islanders aren't the big ones. I'd say maybe one of the Big well known TOWIE Stars e.g. Mark Wright, Joey Essex, Pete Wicks,

Average LI Ratings - 2.6 mil (from the finale)
Average TOWIE Ratings - 800,000

LI is the big one. I don't watch it anymore because I think it's a load of **** but it gets the viewers so ...

The Love Islanders won't be remembered by Christmas. TOWIE is more well known and it's not about ratings.
