How long are you at school for? the usual five years?
So it's taken you two years to settle in?

I found it hard settling into school myself...
I had two main friends, who weren't very popular.

Then somehow, in year 9 I became really popular and had a decent group of 20 main friends who were all popular, and even more regular friends. Strange how things change.

That's kind of why im worried about going to university...
Just incase I end up with people I don't like, then face a potential three years living on my own =/

You'll be suprised by how quickly year 9, 10 and 11 will fly. You'll be leaving school before you know it.

Once it's over, you may end up missing it...
Between the ages of 16-20 a lot of growing up needs to be done. Especially if you end up going to university. Not to mention responsibilities and pressure.

You will need to financially support yourself possibly, you can't make excuses in further education about your work not being done on time/ upto standard, you'll need to think about getting a job and possibly working 8:30am - 5pm every single weekday with no major holidays, perhaps overtime and the fact you can't slack off, you'll have to start thinking about finding your own place to live, learning to drive in order to get yourself around instead of relying on parents etc. Plus a thousand little things you might never have had to do for yourself before.

Independance is good =]
But you'll realise how effortless your life was at school.

All those tiny tests you did that you thought were important but counted for nothing, all those possible detentions you thought would effect your life after school somehow but didn't mean a thing, having a few days off and worrying your attendance will slip and nobody will want to emply/enroll you because you had time off. Your biggest worry in life might be keeping popular or finding a girlfriend/boyfriend.

Things will never be that simple again [unless you're really lucky and end up rich and don't do anything for yourself, or your parents do everything for you besides the fact you're an adult.] so enjoy it =]
