Probably! But as some on here would say "They made their bed, they will have to lie in it". ![]() It could also be argued that Corbyn's manipulation of the young to vote Labour has effectively backfired on him mahoosively as he has now been forced to abandon his life-long political aspiration to leave the EU - because as we all know (those that admit it that is) a soft Brexit is no Brexit! Probably. People elected May to negotiate, and she was a remainer.

Is it just me, or are leavers throwing a load of excuses out there as if they're preparing for a gentle defeat?

Looks like we have two choices.
Accept what's offered or walk away and tell them to stuff it. The idea of Brexit is to leave the EU, keep it simple and do it. |

Hopefully
![]() Not that I'm a Tory supporter or vindictive that people didn't vote Tory. Work out why. |

I once heard someon say 'brexit means brexit' And it does, as long as brexit means brexit and rights are protected I'm happy.
I am not confident in a tory brexit, I don't trust them or feel they have the best interests of the people of this country at heart. This is based on not only what they have done in the past but their current and future plans.

I'm in the telling them to stuff it camp but I can't see that happening. Too many people in politics wanted to remain and will do anything to have some sort of half way thing. If they do have a half way thing I don't think I will ever forgive the political parties in this country. Perhaps it will even be their downfall if others feel the same way. I'm getting to a point where Labour may become a never again party for me to vote for with their latest Brexit trying to stay in tosh and I think it's us floating voters they need if they ever hope to win.

That's not very democratic of you Brillo, some people have no respect for the democratic process it seems
![]() No amount of burying your head in the sand or placing blame at other people's feet will change the fact that by voting Leave and then this Tory government, you voted for an inevitable soft Brexit. Congratulations on getting what you wanted. Last edited by Tom4784; 31-08-2017 at 02:51 PM. |
