How ****ing lame is it to use ~strategy~ as a cop-out for everything? Like, "sure, I acted like an asshole and was extremely manipulative and a bully and encouraged others to bully so that the house could be a completely toxic environment that was neither fun to watch nor live in, but it's actually all okay because it was all in the name of STRATEGY so therefore it's all excusable and I don't need to repent for any of my sins "
I can't remember the last time one person's presence completely destroyed a season of Big Brother.

Josh was very much a puppet of Paul, I didn't like either but there is something pathetic about Josh.

Paul's statement is the complete truth though.

Seeing Paul lose Big Brother AGAIN was hands-down my favourite part of this entire Season! Much, much more satisfying than seeing him lose last year.
Him calling Josh ''cowardly'' for straying from the strict rules about only doing things which personally benefitted Paul was another notable moment of megalomaniac delusion from the bearded twat too, like the ''the statistics'' comment ! I really think Paul needs to re-think his entire existence. Nice to hear he got instant flak on re-entering the outside World. He still got off lightly considering just how much he runied this Season. I think they'd be extremely nervous about ever having him back for another Season. Hopefully he'll be too busy nursing a massive crushed ego to ever consider it. |

If this was Survivor Josh winning would be an even bigger shock, his edit was all over the place it seems. I still love that everyone assumed he was going to be removed pre season, and then the first episodes came on and he was just awful.
Paul is Russel Hantz and in a way Josh is Tony

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Well that was entertaining!
I really didn't want any of them to win but Josh was the best case scenario I guess. I absolutely loved watching Paul as his game crumbled down. Can anyone provide a time lapse of the few final votes as he realized he lost....AGAIN! As for people saying it was just a bitter jury and how it wasn't fair Paul lost - what about how all the people being evicted were treated and bullied? No area of this season was amazing as far as being decent human beings so it's nice he see he wasn't rewarded. |

I don't see the comparison particularly of Russell or Tony (who I both liked) apart from jury management, and Survivor is much more about gameplay anyway. Big Brother with its HoHs and twists to favour vets is as much about sucking up. Paul went about trying to talk about friendship to everyone and wearing that stupid duck float thing like he's some hilarious joker. Josh went about crying and playing victim and really just being a puppet of Paul. Gameplay on Big Brother is always at a lower standard anyway.

Paul will be more like Boston Rob than Russell, he's definitely going to be back for another season now so in a few years some of y'all will wish he'd just won BB18 so he never came back

I wish he'd just owned his game, he drunk his own Kool-Aid during the interrogation and continued to pretend he'd been loyal to everyone until his final speech there were at least three jurors who admitted Paul had played better in the backyard interviews but he took the lying too far, if he'd just watched a damn season before returning then he'd know how to manage a jury

And Russell made it to the jury vote twice in a row just like Paul and both lost to a blonde the first time and a loud spoken poc the second and both are awful at jury management thats why they will never win

My point is though is that production will keep bringing him back until he does win a la Rob, so everyone who hates him have really only played themselves. I think if he actually watched a few seasons and learned some lessons (which is not beyond the realms of possibility on one's third attempt) there's no reason why he couldn't win, he only lost by one vote each time so it's not like his jury management is so atrocious that it can't be overturned

With Josh he is similar to Tony because if someone in the future watches the season without being spoiled, and watches Josh edit, no way in hell anyone thinks he will go on the win, like with Tony, who many compared to Russell Hantz when he played Cagayan, because thats how the edit portrayed him. Both Tony and Josh made intresting tv, they didnt sit back and play under the radar like majority people do, yet they still went on to win.

I don't think Paul will be back again. They didn't even bring back their golden boy a third time after he lost twice, despite having the game rigged in his favour.
Fast forward a few years, he'll be at the bottom of Grodner's wish list, when some of the newer players are in the spotlight. |

Nah

I don't think he will be back either, the hurt was real and whoever came back for the third time (Janelle, Mike, and Russel in Survivor) didn't do well. So he better keep it like this.
In fact, I'm ready for him to talk sh!t about production in a few weeks time.

If Paul does play again (let's say All Stars 2), I really feel like he'll complete the Russell Hantz trilogy and get taken out very early the third time.
Although if he lasts the early stages then I think it could be a case where people just WANT to take him to the F2 because he'll make the same mistakes and is an easy win. [then hopefully the jury wouldn't be bitter as an All Star jury or the other person made them more bitter] Either way, I need an All Stars season soon. Next summer to have Paul on back to back to back years would be overkill but amazing regardless.

I would hope Grodner would get the message and realise no one wants Paul back again but she's never listened to the fans before so

It really wouldn't be amazing though. We've seen enough of him for at least 15 years. Let him go.

an incredibly unpopular opinion but I really enjoyed this season I thought it got worse after elena and mark left but I thought it was very entertaining and for me the ending was perfect. I did start to lose interest tho about 10 episodes before the final
