Default Is your house modern?

Is your house super modern or is it stuck in a time warp?

Its Modern yeah, Laminate flooring which is really cold in the winter and cream walls and sliver in the kitchen, and cream carpeting upstairs but it does have stuck in the time doors which i hope get removed soon, they are ugly as.

Neither...
The inside has been re-done so it's meant to look modern, but it just looks cold and lifeless in my opinion. All the simple shapes, box like sofa's etc...it's just plain wrong.

But id say it's just an average house overall.
Besides my bedroom, which breaks the boundaries of time and manages to look like a small insight into heaven >_< lol.

I'd say my house is modern, it's just had a massive modernisation which has lasted 7 years.....Dad's are useless sometimes!
Some old people used to live in my house, so as you can imagine everything needed replacing.

Yes it's quite modern, a big mix of cultures with russian and italian furnitures. I really love it.

My house is 400 years old, and it is definitely not modern. We haven't even got proper central heating, all the hot water in the boiler is heated by the coal fire.

I'd love an ultra modern house when I grow up, I've even drawn some designs on sketch-up!

Ours is 21 years old, so it's pretty modern i guess. I hate old houses that are hundreds years old, i/we are more modern really

they look okay from a distance, but i would prefer to live in a normal new house, nice'n'modern and very much in the latter part of the 20th century, not falling to pieces and probably needs rewiring

I love it because it does represent the british culture...old from the outside and funky on the inside !
Well I didn't think about that at the beginning but they are so cute and with the rain it's better !

i realise that an old house can be done up on the inside and made to look fab, i have been to a few and I get surprised when the inside looks so diff. It does represent british culture in a way, but many in britain are happy with lovely clean and modern and that for me in great

My house is fairly old, from Victorian times. We've never really tried modernising it although we have various gadgets that bring it more up to date. There's still a chimney breast and also a cellar, not many modern houses have that these days.

old houses suit having really modern interiors, but only if their victorian red brick houses. I'd love an ultra modern white/glass house!
