Big Brother 5 contestant Vanessa Nimmo was left in tears after a man handcuffed himself to her at a party then dragged her outside.

Vanessa, 27, was at a party thrown by Loaded magazine when the incident happened, reports The Sun.

The man locked Vanessa's wrist to his and pulled her out of the Pangaea Club before parading her on the street in central London.

One onlooker said: "It all happened so quickly. The guy seemed to appear from nowhere. He was shouting: "I've got her, I've got her!"

"Vanessa was pleading with this stranger to let her go."

The man ignored her pleas and at first pretended he didn't have a key for the handcuffs when club bouncers came to her aid.

Vanessa, who is dating TV presenter Ben Fogle, was so upset that she went straight home when he finally released her.

A spokesman for Loaded said: "The poor girl was really shook up. Nobody seems to know who this guy is."

Vanessa Nimmo's handcuffed abduction from a London nightclub was a stunt for a new TV show.

It was reported that the ex-Big Brother housemate was hysterical when a 'stranger' dragged her out into the street.

He was said to have first handcuffed himself to her and refused to release her until bouncers stepped in.

But the Daily Star says it was all a stunt for a Sky One TV show, Ed Versus Spencer, due to be screened early next year.

The mystery kidnapper was actually TV presenter Ed Leigh who also goes by the unlikely name of Satan Whoppercock.

In the programme, Ed and sidekick Spencer Claridge compete against each other to see who can become most famous.

Spencer has been going out on a string of dates with Vanessa to boost his profile and the kidnapping stunt was Ed's way of sabotaging his efforts.

The Star also has photos of Vanessa out on a date with Spencer in a Notting Hill bar where she suddenly stood up and poured a glass of wine over his head - another stunt.

In the real world, Vanessa is still going out with actor Ben Fogle and is said by pals to be "very much in love".

The 27-year-old beauty was filmed having a row with hunky Spencer Claridge for Ed Versus Spencer, in which two men vie to become more famous than the other.

South African Vanessa — who is dating TV Castaway star Ben Fogle — had taken Spencer, 31, to a movie premiere on Monday. The next night she was pictured in distress at a party after being handcuffed by his rival Ed Leigh, 29.

And passers-by were fooled by yesterday’s “spat” at a diner in Notting Hill, West London.

A source at Sky One — which will show Ed Versus Spencer later this year — said: “Vanessa has been going out on dates with Spencer to help him become more famous than Ed.

"She knew Ed would hijack their date on Tuesday. But she is obviously a better actress than everyone realised because she did appear terrified by her ordeal.”
