I at least appreciate that the show is trying (? it might be entirely on accident) to switch things up and not be predictable. I was talking with one of my friends and as soon as we saw NTOS I immediately rolled my eyes and predicted that they'd swap into two tribes with one person being on a tribe by themselves bc this show isn't really good at being creative, but I was delighted to find out that they're maintaining three tribes for the first time.

That was a pretty solid episode again. I'd say 3 out of 4 of these episodes this season have been good ones.

Decent-ish episode if only for Yawa Levu is kinda not that great and Soko is okay but way too much Ryan of course.

Still just feeling okay about this season. Not bad but watchable -- obligatory A Season Of Survivor post.

My one issue with this season remains that I want more people to root against (or root for and Alan going doesn't really help that for me). There's too many likable characters that are basically just there and not likable in a way like BB19 where I was just overly supportive of them. Really there's a lot of just ok characters when it comes down to it. BB19 also had Jody which was honestly a benefit for the season to strongly root against them and feel satisfied when they got taken out. This season just has somewhat annoying, definitely boring, and over-exposed Lauren which even when she gets eliminated (hopefully it's coming), it's not going to be something to get excited about.

But anyway, the content has still been very good to make the episodes fun to watch so I'm not complaining. This is also better than having a bunch of castaways I don't care for or don't like which has been the case sometimes. I'm really enjoying a few at least and meanwhile the show is keeping things pretty entertaining.

~over-exposed Lauren~ only got a large edit in the episode where she was a very potential boot option and they kinda had to show her. She didn't exist in the premiere and in the other two episodes she just had a normal amount of screen time.

As much as I did like Alan, it'd be a bit odd to see him return over others because it was such an early boot. However, it does still make sense considering how he got taken out so I hope he does return.
