Never really rated Karen as a character or actress but that was a brilliant performance in the episode where she gets sectioned.

I agree. S7 was the worst one to date, by some considerable way. S8 has got off to a wobbly start too. Patty is the only good thing

Billy has to be one of the worst TV characters, ever. Can't believe they replaced Paddy with that.

Finished this tonight honestly will actually really miss it, hope they do bring it back some day but it had been milked for what it was worth. Shame the Maguries were so dismissed though in the final episode when they've been such a huge part of the show and kept it surviving as the Gallaghers slowly left.

One of the oddest things about Shameless was the more it focused on it's title character, the worse it was. Frank, in both the UK and US versions, is essentially quite unlikeable.
