I wouldn't say it perfectly ended it at all.

But, personally, I'd rather she came back when Scarlett is older so we can see her in a completely different chapter of her life.

I don't see how Vicki would require this teasing but a Masood return was announced as normal.

But then, there are not very many of the show's former major characters that left alive so the choices are very slim.

If I could choose, Tamzin Outhwaite would be back to help Lisa get back on her feet and reconnect with Louise.
