Yes I think people do get too easily offended. They even seem to be looking to be offended sometimes.

its fine for people to feel offended for whatever reason, we all have personal experiences that shape our threshold for acceptance of things around us. However, equally, its wrong for people to stop doing something because they may or may not cause offense. If it's not illegal, then they should carry on. If it affects sales of an item or whatever, then the retailer needs to take that in to account, but a small handful of people who were probably never going to buy the product in the first place should just be ignored.

People who constantly whinge about the offense they take and try to have things banned because of it really need to get a life tbh. As Stephen Fry said, the correct response to "I'm offended" should be "so ****ing what?"

You know I adopt that very same principle, if there's an accusation that something I say is me being PC or SJW or snowflakey that's what I say... So ****ing what!
